Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Watson Machine Learning provides a full range of tools and services allowing users to build, train, and deploy Machine Learning models. IBM Watsonx.ai is our upcoming enterprise-ready AI and data platform designed to multiply the impact of AI across customers’ business including support for new foundation models, generative AI and machine learning. This position is part of the team responsible for building and managing these exciting products.

As a DevOps developer, you will be part of a global team that builds, deploys, configures and maintains the infrastructure used to run Watson Machine Learning and Watsonx.ai. The work will be performed under the Agile model, in a cooperative and innovative environment, interfacing with global teams. Main tasks include:

• Working with development and quality assurance teams to enable software and service delivery in an efficient, secure and resilient manner.

• Actively seek opportunities to improve and automate existing processes and procedures.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.

• May involve monitoring and resolving issues on production systems in a multi-cloud environment built using the IBM Kubernetes Service and the Red Hat OpenShift container platform.

• Assist Product Support teams and end-users with product related questions

• Help to identify and maintain standards and best practices
  

Applicants should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in computer science or similar fields. You will need to be an excellent collaborator and communicator within your team and with wider stakeholders.
